-
- Most of us can live without floppies, give us scsi ports for an externals
- that can take CD-ROM/ZIPS and whatever. I'm sure someone will come up
- with a floppy alternative if they really want it.

- Good point. -snip- alot snip.

- Most Amiga owners at this point are no longer holding their collective
- breath, and are just bitchin. Almost a year has passed and Amiga's are
- still shipping with the C= logo onboard. All of us wish to see the Amiga's
- succeed and most of us don't understand why AT/ESCOM doesn't throw a
- A1200 into a snazzy PC case (pizza box) give us a CD-ROM insert (they
- don't have to include it) a harddrive and maybe the already designed 030
- version motherboard with an option for a couple of slots through a
- daughter board... like this would be a marketable item.
-
- Just imagine what the market would have been if the A3000+ AGA/DSP hit the
- streets in 1991! This was the design most of us called for, and now we're
- asking again, of course we expect more.. it's 1996+, so we want it all
- yesterday. We want the fastest desktop machine on the market for as cheap
- as possible (solution, give us the ablity to run multiple CPU's) We want
- some sort of native graphics that don't strain the pocketbook, yet RTG
- for any graphic card we can lay our fingers on. Solve the software
- setbacks with a CHRP compliant hardware design and give us networking.
- Did I mention DSP's, MpegII video, and whatever nifty video goodies.
- (video card so the younger crowd can double the system as a second
- entertainment set).. DSP for all in one telephone solution with a video
- cam ya that would do the trick..
-
- My bitchin's over now, off you go.
